Melissa is an award-winning licensed hairstylist and educator with a passion for creativity, excellence, and a deep appreciation for all hair types. Since earning her hairstyling diploma in 2013, she has built a career rooted in technical expertise, exceptional client care, and a strong commitment to continued education.

She specializes in colour, silk press, cut, extensions, and is highly skilled in working with all hair textures. Beyond the salon, Melissa has contributed her artistry to major events such as Caribbean Fashion Weekend, Amerindian Heritage Pageant, Miss Teen Canada Pageant, Toronto Caribbean Carnival, Skilled Trades Ontario, as well as professional photoshoots.

Melissa thrives in collaborative environments and takes pride in mentoring others, sharing her knowledge to help both emerging stylists and clients feel confident in their craft and personal style.

Currently an instructor at Fleming College, she joined the institution as the lead developer of its multicultural hair program, creating a foundation for the next generation of inclusive hair professionals.

A strong advocate for professional growth, Melissa has earned multiple accolades, including an Award of Excellence, and remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry trends.
